What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when a site sets them through your browser. Our static site uses only a minimal set: a local preference flag for analytics opt-in and a session-style key for dark mode if you toggle it. These files do not execute code on your machine beyond the browser’s normal storage APIs.

Preference storage

When you click Preferences in the toast, you can opt into optional analytics or keep essential-only mode. Preference keys are prefixed with the brand name to avoid collisions with unrelated sites on shared machines. You may revisit Cookie Settings from the footer at any time to change your mind.

Consent mechanics

Essential cookies load without consent because they are strictly necessary for remembering your privacy decision itself. Optional analytics loads only after affirmative opt-in. Rejecting optional cookies does not block navigation. We do not deploy dark patterns that imply consent from silence beyond the essential baseline.

Third-party cookies

Embedded video or webinar previews may set third-party cookies if you choose to play them; those providers maintain their own policies. We attempt to load placeholders until you interact. If you never opt into embeds, third-party cookies from those vendors should not activate.
